This is a quick and easy pie!
- Pastry shell
- Can of apple pie filling (or your fresh apple mixture if you like)
- 2 TBS butter
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup quick cooking oatmeal
- 3 TBS chopped walnuts
Roll your pastry dough and line pie plate. Pour in pie filling. Use a pastry blender to cut the butter in to the flour. Mix in sugar, oatmeal and nuts. Sprinkle evenly over the top of your pie filling. Bake 350 degrees 30-35 minutes, until crust is lightly browned and center of pie is bubbly. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
